Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)- apply starting Oct 1!

  • Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

  • We recommend that all seniors planning to attend college or vocational school complete the FAFSA as soon as possible

  • This application will determine your eligibility for Federal grants, loans and work study!

Bright Futures Scholarships- apply starting Oct 1!

  • Florida Academic Scholarship, Florida Medallion Scholarship or Gold Seal Scholarship

  • Apply online at https://www.floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org

  • Two steps: First, create a student account.  Then, complete the FFAA (Florida Financial Aid Application.  You should be able to complete both in less than 15 minutes!


Gulf Coast Foundation Scholarships- Opens Dec 1, deadline 3/15/21

  • Must have applied and been accepted to Gulf Coast, so do that NOW at gulfcoast.edu

  • Scholarships are usually around $1300, and there are MANY available!

Scholarships for Military Children


Hispanic Scholarship Fund- deadline 2/15/2021

  • 10,000 scholarships awarded! 

  • For students of Hispanic heritage

  • Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA

  • Must submit FAFSA

Coolidge Scholarship- deadline 2/24/21 at 4pm

  • For High School JUNIORS!!!

  • Full ride, four year, merit scholarship that can be used at any accredited college!

  • Based primarily on academic excellence; secondary criteria include interest in public policy, humility and service

  • Reading of President Coolidge’s Autobiography is required

  • Begin your application online at www.coolidgescholars.org


Cooperative Living Organization- priority deadline 2/24/2021 

  • Student-run scholarship program that offers housing for UF and Santa Fe students

  • Students receive dorm-style housing, meals, Wifi and computer access and parking for   $420/mo

  • Apply online atwww.cloliving.org


Army ROTC Scholarships- deadline 03/04/21

  • Over 2000 scholarships awarded each year

  • Scholarships cover full tuition and fees, plus $1200/yr for books and a $420/month stipend

  • Can be used at any college with an Army ROTC program.

  • Minimum GPA 2.5

  • Minimum SAT 1000, or ACT 19

  • Must meet physical standards and agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army, Army Reserve or National Guard

Taylor Haugen Scholarship- deadline 3/5/21

  • $1000 scholarship awarded to a Bay County senior

  • For students who exemplify character traits of academics, athleticism, leadership, community service and faith

Tyndall Spouses Club High School Senior Scholarship- deadline 03/05/21

  • For dependents of active duty, guard personnel, retired or deceased military members.  Applicant must be assigned to and living in the Tyndall AFB area.

  • Applicant and sponsor must have valid military identification cards.

Florida Realtors Scholarships- deadline 03/11/21

  • Scholarships start at $1000

  • Criteria- academic achievement, financial need, leadership, etc

Nadine Smith College Scholarship- deadline 03/15/21

  • For LGBTQ+ high school seniors and senior allies in Bay County

  • $1250

Better Business Bureau Student Ethics Scholarship- deadline 03/15/21

  • $1000 scholarship to vocational school, college or university

  • Essay required: “If character is instilled in leaders, leaders are more likely to act in an ethical way; right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.”

  • For seniors who have exemplified exceptional leadership among their peers and community

Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative Scholarship- deadline 4/2/21

  • 10 $1000 scholarships available

  • For high school seniors whose parents are members of Gulf Coast Electric Coop

Panhandle Runners Club Scholarship- deadline 4/2/21

  • Seniors who reside in Bay County

  • Should be an active athlete with preference given to those involved in running

  • WGPA 3.5 or higher

Joyce Loved Music Scholarship- deadline 4/2/2021

  • For high school band seniors

  • Applications available in the AICE office!


GCSC Performing Arts Scholarship Auditions/Interviews- 4/12/21

Bay County Farm Bureau Scholarship- deadline 4/30/21

  • Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a person who has been a Farm Bureau member for at least 2 years. 

  • 2 $1250 scholarships will be awarded

  • Application available in the AICE office


Rosenwald Class of 1960 Arejean Coleman Keys Scholarship- deadline 5/1/21

  • Applications must be postmarked by May 1!

  • 3.0 GPA required
